Let's touch on the importance of having a beautiful website as an Ohio tech company...

shall we?

As tech companies, we want attention.

We want to look the part.

We want to stand out.

And most importantly, we need a website that accurately represents who we are and what we do.

Investors, customers, partners, and potential hires, are all going to find us through our website.

That first impression speaks dividends, and we want to make sure we take advantage of the one chance we have to make that impression count.

Here are three examples of beautiful (and effective!) tech company websites based in Ohio, and why they fill the part.

Seamless.ai

Seamless.AI is an advanced sales intelligence platform designed primarily for B2B (business-to-business) sales professionals. It provides a real-time search engine that enables users to find verified contact information, including emails and phone numbers, for potential leads. The platform aims to streamline the lead generation process, helping sales teams connect with decision-makers more efficiently.

Website Score: 7.6/10

The interactions on this site are gorgeous. The visual representation of the scrollbar that fills up with leads indicates a lot of strong social proof and is very convincing.

The downsides?

The page becomes a little unbalanced and it's a little difficult to absorb all at once. it takes a bit of a patient reader to grasp the full effect and concept

Astronomer.io

Astronomer empowers data teams to enhance their data availability with Astro, a modern data orchestration platform powered by Apache Airflow®. Astro enables companies to place Airflow at the core of their data operations, providing ease of use, scalability, and enterprise-grade security, to ensure the reliable delivery of mission-critical data pipelines.

Website Score: 8.6/10

This is one of the best sites I have seen in awhile, and tops our list for this comparison.

The combination of the colors, the product walkthrough scroll animation, social proof of the logo carousel, and gradients... just a home run.

Mobikit

Mobikit is a collective platform that lets you harmonize, enrich, and analyze connected vehicle data. This allows you to easily integrate vehicle insights into your business workflows. They are based in Ohio and are listed on Crunchbase.

Website Score: 7.1/10

Although a little glaringly simple, Mobikit communicates well and makes its copy, messaging, and product the star of the show.

However, it certainly won't win any awards for design. Odds are, this was by intention because tech companies (as we know) move fast and need to get online quickly.

That being said- investing in good design and effective UI is always worth it for the professionalism it conveys to prospects.

If you're interested in growing your startup's impact through effective marketing and design...

I hope this helps and inspires you.

And there is so much more I can do to help you :)

Let's get a chat on the calendar and see if we'd be a good fit for a project.
