Stoicism is a popular philosophy, and as a creative, I see so many parallels that have helped me navigate the internal struggles that I face doing design and creating work for myself and not for others.
The Stoics, in principle were creatives- creative in thought, in action, and in mindset. Embodying these traits and virtues go so far in allowing us to grow and create for the sake of embodying our identity as a creative and not for the approval of others.
